The charity evening on the 2nd November, at Bolton Town Hall, is called 'Bollywood Night'.
Roughly, the programme for the night is likely to shape out like this:
7pm - reception
7.30pm - Intro to the night, talk from Fortalice (a domestic violence refuge, the charity we're raising money for)
- Bollywood dancing
- Dohl player
- Fashion Show (Pt. 1)
- Singer
- Auction
- Results of best dressed competition
8.15pm - 3 course meal from Nawaab
9.00/9.15pm - 2nd talk from Fortalice
- Belly dancing
- Fashion show
- Singer
- Auction
- Monologue/drama piece about domestic violence
- Results of draw
- Closing talk
10am - Henna artists, and time to look around the sponsor's stalls.
It will be a strictly ladies-only, no photography (except the performers who have given permission) event. This is so that we can try and reach out to some women who normally wouldn't attend this sort of event. Tickets are £20 per person and children under 5 are free.
